Mobile Planetarium of Unawe Indonesia

What if the sky was shroud with cloud for astronomy? Surely no gazing, since nothing to display in the sky. However, there is another option if the situation is not very good for sky-gazing. So, for basic education about the sky, Planetarium is everyone favorite. True, even, planetarium is the most attractive attraction during the last journey of Unawe Indonesia.

Standardize mobile planetarium is an expensive equipment if one to purchase in standard manner, but the lack of fund does not stop the team of Unawe Indonesia to innovate a way how to make a planetarium usefull & affordable, of course movable, without losing the core-set as a tool for education.

To overcome the situation, the team implementing simple set, using iron stake, to hold a large black umbrella covered with black veil; inside we put the small planetarium projector, and voila .. at least the planetarium could countain six elementary school students.

Even in simple form, this should be very useful as an introduction on how celestial bodies move, and other related basic astronomy.

  3. berapa total biaya pembuatan mobile planetarium yg. effektif untuk alat peraga sekolah.
    kami berminat untuk membeli sebagai alat peraga sekolah didaerah Batam.

    • Biaya total bisa bervariasi, karena proyektornya bermacam2, ada yang dari beberapa juta, ada yang sampai puluhan juta. Tapi kalau yang sederhana sih, ada beberapa produk yang harganya cukup terjangkau, (bisa di browsing di internet), dan bisa dipergunakan di dalam kelas.

      Alternatif lain adalah memanfaatkan proyektor mempergunakan lensa fish-eye .. :)
