'Out of this world' in this context (as displayed in my previous comment) is a phrase which means 'excellent'. It is exactly synonymous with excellent, superb, extraordinary and many other things that come in the same pack! But of course, in that context I implemented it for a humourous purpose, because we all know that astronomy is absolutely a matter of extraterrestrials (out-of-this-world!). So there is a distinguishable ambiguity within the phrase and itt was not implemented for an insult nor a criticism. On the other hand, as you mention, gb. is needed for 'acquaintanceship', which is, this term is used in social-term. So, for me being an acquaintance is the normality of how the life goes, like in this case, should i need gb?
